Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Going to have to buy a new squeeze chute. Wife sold her bulls today and is going to buy something... what is the question. Been using an old Powder River, still a good chute after a lot of TLC by me, just too small to be AI'ing cows and working bulls in. Would like to get something that has an auto head catch, it doesn't need to work with small animals but would be nice for yearling heifers on up.
So what manual chutes out there does everyone like that are priced right? Locally options are pretty much limited to Powder River or Big Valley, I looked briefly at a Big Valley today, looked good except for the chain pull for the squeeze, I can't see that working well. I'd like to see one in use or hear from someone who has. I don't like it, but at times the Mrs. ends up working cows by herself, so I need something that doesn't take a bear to use.
Thanks. | |
