Hi John. I should have been out putting out hay yesterday also but did not get back from Minot until near dark. Got to get it out now before your cold weather gets here.  who knows - I might go back to April calving start next year too. we'll see how this season goes.  Just don't want any early ones.  By mid March we are USUALLY seeing some bare grass patches on my south sloping calving pasture as the snow melts.
