I agree with you. Flying short distances is a real hassle... you spend more time in the airport buildings before and after the flight than you spend time in a plane. Just makes the case of high speed rail even stronger. HSR is just so convenient and cheap to ride... and really what's the difference between subsidizing a costly airport terminal and subsidizing high speed rail infrastructure??
