Central IL | When we built our house, my wife bought 10,000 plan books and never found what she wanted. So she drew up a floor plan using a cheap house drawing program. We took her drawing to the local truss manufacturer and their draftsmen drew up basic blueprints from her drawings. Their blueprints included basement/foundation specs, main floor including garage floor plan specs, exterior view prints. They did not include electrical, plumbing, and heating pages. Cost was about $600. Could have been $150 cheaper except she changed her mind twice before I put my foot down. Of course, they wanted to bid on the project when we bid it. The contractor we choose did use them as their truss supplier. | |
