Subject: RE: First time pheasant hunting

Elkhart, Illinois
5 of us went to North/South Dakota last week. First time I had pheasant hunted in several years due to lack of birds locally. I never worked so hard for so little (kinda reminds me of farming). We killed more ducks and geese in 3 hours one morning than a weeks worth of pheasant hunting. We saw alot of birds but they were skiddish and running ahead or getting up 100-200 yards in front of us.
Duck hunters take a closer look at that greenheads leg.
Of course you guys who know me would not be surprized that I hauled a cooker up there. We did eat all the pheasant before we came home!!
