Subject: RE: Carroll Shelby museum

Elkhart, Illinois
We have been there a few times and even got married there.
We spend little time in casinos. seen one, you have seen em all! We usually rent a cheap vehicle and try to see things.
I found the Carroll Shelby museum about 3 years ago. You need to find online and reserve a spot for a shop tour given once a day at 10:00 AM. It is at the speedway.
Hoover Dam is good to see as well as a drive through RedRock canyon. About 20 miles out RedRock, there is a biker bar that serves a pretty good burger. The entire inside of the joint is covered with dollar bills that people sign and stick on the wall. We have driven to Grand Canyon's South Rim and have driven through Death Valley. Make sure you have plenty of gas as there is 1 station inside the park that charges double the price of Vegas gas.
The last couple times we stayed, we were at Bill"s gambling Hall next to Flamingo. It doesn't look like much but rooms are as nice as any and alot cheaper. They also have reasonable food compared to most of the strip.
Since you will be in town a few days, drop a little cash and have a Prime Rib at Lawry's. Finest restaurant meal I ever had about 3-4 blocks from Flaming off the strip.
Everyone going to Vegas should also experience an In/Out Burger.
