Missouri
NFR time is great in LV. Lots of things to do that are western. At least two really good trade shows with dealers from everywhere. Very large, Two day's midweek offer rodeo livestock auction with a jackpot rodeo for the rookies, then sell the animal. Lots of cheap fun. Every night offers an awards party after the rodeo, that gets crazy. Parking lot at NFR offered a party in itself, which a tent city from the sponsors was set up, allow for extra time to visit. (This may have changed, been several years). Closed circuit rodeo is available at many of the casino bars and dinners, by planning supper time late, it is almost as good as going. Eating habits get messed up and ends up like two meals a day not three. Tickets are not a problem early in the week. It is hard not to have a good time. Lots of western singers in LV around the NFR.
