Jim Your cattle will consume 2.07% of indivdual body weight of this hay. Its decent cow hay,just a little chewy though. ADF around 40 indicates maturity so likely be hard enough for them to meet all their needs on this hay alone. I wouldn't worry about protein,its often energy that a cow lacks. A touch of grain would do wonders.
