Dairyman 78's wife here. He is busy emptying the slurry today and has a board meeting tonight. And lets face it, he hasn't caught on to how to copy and paste yet. I found this recipe online. How did we ever get along without recipes online. The blackened salmon is here.

The apricot butter salmon was just something I saw on tv. A restaurant telling how they make their salmon and it looked so easy. You just buys some cedar planks (we found them at Costco) and you soak it for a couple hours. Then put your salmon on that and top it off with a mixture of butter and apricot preserves. First time we grilled it, the melting butter made the grill flame up, second time we made it, I set the cedar plank on foil with the sides up a bit to keep the butter from going in the flames. Cooking times vary on how thick your salmon is.
