Don't know much about sunspots, but I've heard that before. Interesting comment by cpt. plaid about man not influencing the environment, I agree totally. I think the wackos are kinda disappointed in how nature took care of the oil spill in the gulf by the mississippi outflow keeping so much oil from coming ashore and how the tropical storm dissipated so much of the slick.

This year's weather stats are right up Elwynn Taylor's alley---taking stats like avg temps and such is the type of thing he uses to predict above or below trend line yields. He's taken some heat on this site in the recent past, mainly due to a misunderstanding of his approach I think. This year's avg temps have been abnormally warm, and its my prediction that as a result we will have yields somewhere south of the current 165. I've seen some surprisingly low yields in my recent kernal/pop counts, even though its looks awesome from the road.
