The "treated" pickets are Ac2. Same as deck boards, same as any other green treat boards. Nothing special is done to them over any other treated boards. I can't remember but I think the "cedar" pickets are Ac2 also. Either one will weather without a water sealant just like your deck. It will only take a year or two before either one won't look like new.
