WY, OK | Before you put too much into it remember with new BSE rules any animal that does not put weight on all 4 legs and/or all 4 do not touch the ground cannot be sold. We had a calf get an infected leg up high, got it knocked out but her one leg never quite grew as fast as the other 3 and she was rejected at the sale barn after she was weaned because her short leg wouldn't touch the ground. We ended up putting a lot of time and effort into her for nothing. If you keep one to eat yourself that will be the only other option. | |
