What happens to bearings when they never once make a full revolution????

Sorry but bushings are better in applications where one full revolution will never happen.

Also are you using bearings designed for side (axial) loads?

I was thinking the same thing. My tigermate ii has a bearing at the pivot point on the walking beam. It's a big bearing but only about a third of it rolls. It's a problem but I guess any design in that application would be.
