It could be because yours has electric drive. I had a Westfield pto 8x31 that couldn't keep up with my Hutchinson pto 8x53. After some research I found the top drive sprockets were for electric drive, which drove the screw slower. Replacing the sprockets with ones for pto drive increased capacity. The 4,800 bu rating could be for pto drive.
