I don’t know the formula, I always give my supplier the specs of what I am installing/quoting and he works up the specs of boiler and pump sizes. If I do it that way and it does not work then I have support for troubleshooting and he has been very helpful and always has my back if there is any problems with equipment. Warranty has always been no questions asked.
