First, the size (btu) of the heat source is not determined by the floor, it is determined by the heat loos of your building, which is influenced by the cubic footage and insulation of your building. and the local climate data. That is above my pay grade.

I would beg to differ with this. Your concrete floor will only radiate X amount of btu’s per square foot.
A bigger heater will not make it heat anymore no matter what you do.

Now if your building is well insulated and just a walk in door with very little heat loss you could go with a smaller heater and be fine but you will still need your pumps to have enough flow rate to avoid hot spots in the room.
