Wisconsin | We have spare totes in the barn, The 30/55 I put in a empty cage so they go onto their scale and onto my scale as I scale off so is easy to handle and I have all my soybean in one tote cage and one for corn in another tote cage with 30/55 barrels easy access.
The 30/55 they slapped a label on and we reuse the same product year over year. Most are just micro-nutrients.
I appreciate hearing that others still have this as a option.
Right now my biggest ones are micronutrients, the did fill one of their totes with Warrant so they seemed ok with that as a option at least for one. Going to call and see our option I just don't like policy changes being told to me when they are delivering product. Give me a heads up as these products I don't need till my 2nd pass anyways.
As to price we never got a discount using mini bulk so assumed they get to save some on cost and uses some on extra labor. For us it is a time savings as well as reduced chance of spill/exposure as well.
