| As in terms of stupid financial decisions there are many examples out there. Lots of people pay 20 percent interest on credit cards, stupid of course, but its easy and many many people do it because it is easy. Gambling is another example, despite all mathematical odds people still do it. Similar to DP, it is just that, a gamble.
But bins cost money, labor costs money. DP is taking care of today's problems now and worrying about the potential consequences later. Avoiding DP requires a combination of investment, planning and foresight. | |
