It doesn't matter if it is bought with cash or financed it takes the same amount of after tax dollars to pay for it either way. I vote we push to make land purchases tax deductible to farmers.
Can imagine what that would do to land prices —i’m all in for making land principal payments tax deductible
And basis gets reset when it’s transferred to a family member— no one even needs to die
$50,000 an acre ??
