Pretty well every field has some sort of trial in it. Only really good way to push the limits is to learn and best way is to do it on every acre you can. With todays technology it really is seamless and easy to examine results. Really the only thing that adds a ton of time are the hybrid trials. Everything else is fast and easy to adjust on the fly.
