SC WI | I am probably a little intense about this subject because my wife wants to home school our kid.
I hated high school, but that might be why I did what I did when I was there. I know high school has changed since I been there, but I feel parents should still play a major role in a kid’s education outside of the school. But there are things a school can expose a kid to that homeschool can’t; some good, some bad, but still educational.
My wife has a friend who homeschools their younger kids, the course work takes about 3 hours per day to complete, so you can imagine the extra nonsense the schools add. | |
