south dakota | do not get into this unless you have a outlet for less then perfect hay... If your absolutly bound to put up perfect hay there will be times when it will end up better to burn the windrow then bale it. If you have a outlet for lesser quality hay you will be more likley to make the best decisions needed to get the hay put up period. Also make sure you have a round baler as well lessor quality squares dont sell real easily and if they end up moldy are a pain to deal with vs a round bale. square the quality and round the lesser quality. | |
