I am working on one of these tractors for one of my customers. It came from the factory equipped with Beeline steering. I am trying to figure out if I can steer the factory valve with a SteerCommand Z2.  The WAS can either be reused or easily be replaced, the valve is Danfoss and I have the pinouts and should be able to drive it. The only question I have is how they handled manual steering override. The steering valve is built into the steering hand pump. I did not see a pressure switch or sensor on the unit, but being it is crammed up on the firewall I cold have missed it. I did not disassemble the steering column to look for an encoder either. Does anyone know how Beeline set up the manual override on these tractors? I'm striking out digging through AGCO parts books as well. Thanks.

As you mentioned the Agco tractors used a Sauer Danfoss steering valve which could incorporate a steering overide sensor/encoder. Not sure if that is what Agco employed or not. Attached is a page about the sensor. The factory auto steering system on a 665B would be a CAN bus system. The specs on a SteerCommand Z2 indicate it can be connected to the bus directly. It would be much simpler to connect to the bus with one twisted pair then to wire directly to all the components on the tractor.
