| Glad to see your still kicking Chad. So never feed supplements or even salt on desert. Only time we would supplement is if we get snowed out like last year. We pulled cows off and fed hay into start of calving in March. Then was able to turn back out on range to finish calving. Grass has been great this fall, lots of green up.
Snow has hit us here now, had 5-6" in places last week, today about 4". However warming up, hope it melts back. We have last of coming two's to truck home this week to Idaho. They will have to go on full feed until after calving hopefully truck them out after calving to spring pastures. | |
