SE SD | I would suggest you go into the local NRCS office and visit. I doubt they would allow you to shut one open lot and rebuild else where, They would allow that open lot to be closed and a building built on the same farm. EQIP something has to be started in the first year of the contract. Agwaste projects will be less than 75% cost share most of the time. Each practice has different dollars for it ie: Roofs and cover, heavy use protection, manure storage. Its not just 1 practice for the whole project. If you stop into the office they give you some guidance.
