Bottom of the Mitten | I agree good gear is absolutly necessary, and get actual snowmobile gear not Carharts and such. Its no fun at all to be cold out there. But I have nowhere near $1500 into my whole setup, although I've had all of it for 10 years so maybe I'm out of touch on prices. I have about $350 into bibs, coat, helmet, balaclava, and gloves. The only time I've really been cold was in -20F actual temp. Luckily I was around the neighborhood so I just went home and put the sled away for a couple days | |
