If you want effortless, buy Office365 with the email address and use it with the OneDrive.  Can look at all my business info from my iPad, use office for iOS, setup on various PC’s around the farm and house and it all syncs seamlessly.  The endless IT issues to get remote access to the physical server at the farm office are extremely annoying after you go to effortless integrated syncing, but you have to pay for a subscription, and you have to have connectivity, and not everyone has that.
