Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | I think we had 50 mph gusts here today, raiseing hell with the bales here, we use sisal twine and it is rotten at this time of year so it is hard on the bales sitting out in fields yet, I finished harvesting my sunflowers last sunday and have parked the combine, glad to be done for this season, its no fun harvesting a hailed out crop. Guess all you can do is try it again next year. Have about 800 hay bales to haul home yet and alot of manure to haul before the snow balls fly. By the way how are the crops in Iowa? Our earlier crops were really good here, but the later ones got alot of hail, now if the prices were only better it wouldnt be so bad. |
