Saronville NE | Borrowed the neighbors 7140 to drill wheat, cause our tractor was tied up. This morning brining it home from a field, climbing a big hill in road gear, it felt like it started slipping, and console said 15th gear even though I was in 18th, I downshifted to 17th, then it was fine. I had noticed that it isnt a firm shift into 18th, in the past week of using it, kinda just slides into 18th when the rpms are right? Are the accumulators you guys talk about on here need to be recharged or something? Or is this kinda common? Im not real familiar with the magnums but like them, will pry buy one when the machinery market goes south in another couple yrs instead of paying these high prices now. | |
