Baldwin City, KS | I bought an Outback S-lite lightbar at the KC farm show today. It was $895 at the show, which I didn't think was a bad price. I kind of had my eye on Trimble or Ag Leader, but for an entry level tool, the outback got my attention, mostly because of the price.
I will be using the unit for spreading fertilizer and a 60' PT sprayer, and probably the NH3 bar. What do you guys think of this light bar? Salesman said it would be within a foot of course, what is a realistic expectation of accuracy?
I originally wanted Trimble or Ag leader 500 so that I could upgrade to RTK and autosteer later. The more I think about it, when I'm ready for that, I'll want a whole different system anyway, so why not go with the $895 over $2,500+ for now anyway. Your thoughts and experiences are appreciated as always. | |
