| I Bought a 99 Bonneville with 145K at the car auction a couple weeks ago. I just bought it for errands a such. It runs good, a little hail damage $1000 car. The trans shifts good but there is no overdrive. My mechanic friend tells me it is all electical shift but he didn't hold much hope for a easy fix. I changed trans fluid, no change. If I take it to a G.M. dealer will they be able to scan it for the problem? If it means a new trans, I guess it means no o.d. Rob D | |
