Subject: Resizing pictures

Central Kansas
Most of my pictures are in the 600 to 700 kb in size. Never been told as to why one picture will be 400kb and shoot another one of maybe the same thing but change angle or get closer or farther away and that picture will be 700kb's. Can someone explain to me why this changes?

I have some pictures on my computer that I downsized through using paint and strech and skew (my daughter helped me with this) but I find it hard and time consuming to do this. Is there any feature that I could use to submit a picture that I want to post and have it automatically reduced in a size on my command?

Long story short, click on a button that would automatically resize a 700kb picture to 100kb?

Thanks
