SC SOUTH DAKOTA | I have a cow with a twisted uterus and i couldnt get the calf turned so i took the cow to the vet. The vet tried to turn the calf by hand like i did and couldnt get him, so he takes a steel rod and chain, hooks it to the calfs front legs to try to turn the calf to un twist the uterus and pryed to hard and broke one of the calfs front legs.He tells me what he did and i thot we will just have to cast the leg no biggy,but still didnt get the calf turned so ended up C section to get the calf out.While hes sewing her back up he says the leg was not castable and he said he's gunns put the calf to sleep. So i thot well hes gunna use his insurance and make it right.WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i get ready to go he said you win some you lose some and im sorry.All i can see is me losing,no calf and a vet bill. So i guess hes right he win some I lose some | |
