| Been a mechanic all my life, went to school for it and all. And just today did I realize how to use a grease gun. Yes I always realized all grease guns the tip can be unscrewed a little to make it easier harder to get on the zerk. But just today did I realize you can put the tip on the zerk and tighten the tip (screw it in) to really lock it in to force grease in. How did I go 40 years not knowing this. Basically every grease gun ever has this. Even the $9 Harbor freight special. Basically a lock and lube but you have to make a few twists of the end. A lock and lube is just a quick attach.
Sorry if everyone already knew this but I was never showed this, and when I realized it yesterday while greasing my batwing mower I was ashamed of myself and thought wow... | |
