Subject: Question on liquid fertilizer orifice size (with picture)

NE ND
I have a John Deere 7300 planter with liquid fertilizer setup. I don’t know anything about it other than how to use it, I’ve just turned it on and it works. Monitor is an FMC Mustang. I’m trying to put down 5 gal/acre of 10-34-0 and it will do it so long as it’s good and warm. When it’s cooler outside and the liquid is thicker it won’t get that much down. And if it’s real cool it’ll be less than 2 gallons. I’ve been told I need to change to larger orifices but I don’t even know what that is? This is a picture where the tube goes into the trench of the row unit. Is there something in there I need to change? It so does anyone know where I’m supposed to get them and how to take these apart? I’ve always thought the line the fertilizer runs through is very small, is that the problem? And suggestions appreciated.
