Jewell County KS | I have a MK10x71 swinghopper auger with the cable lift. I need to reseal the hyd cylinder.
Is there recommended way to remove the cylinder from the auger and not fight the cable and pulleys too bad?
Is there a stop at the top for the auger to rest on when doing this or will I need to support the auger tube? Can't tell from ground level.
Just from looking from the ground it appears the cylinder gland will unscrew with a spanner wrench of sometype and there maybe a set screw to take out first.
Any other tips are appreciated. | |
