Subject: Cyclo 800 problems - seed manifold

New Brunswick, Canada
New to us cyclo 800, planted a few rounds with a bag at a time on 144 bean drum and population set to 135k, bag ran out just over and acre.

Loaded up 4 bags and finished field, only a bag of seed used after 4 acres.

Looking over drum, it’s only filling 90% of the dimples at 2 mph, at 5 mph only 30% of the dimples filled. Loosing some at the top coming around. I’m at 10” on the pressure gauge.

While diagnosing even with the seed release wheels disengaged, all seed that makes it over the top is going into the manifold which make no sense to me.

Gasket in good shape, hopper not leaking. 3” of seed in bottom of drum.

If I go 2 mph I can get 110-120 k out of it but that’s pretty slow for rain being on way and not what we expected out of this thing.

Anyone have some insight on what is happening?
