| I am looking for any input on using EQIP dollars to put up a mono slope in Iowa. A few specifics, I currently have two dirt lots about 15 miles apart, but in the same county. I just got one up and running recently, but due to its location I was wondering if I could shut that one down and rebuild a new shed elsewhere using EQIP dollars? I guess my main questions are would they require I shut both my dirt lots down or could I just shut down the one? Am I allowed to build it elsewhere or do I have to build it on the lot that's getting shut down? How long do I have to have this relatively new lot up and running before I could shut it down and qualify for EQIP dollars? When you shut down a dirt lot and build new, are you only allowed to build a shed for the same amount of head you had on the dirt lot or could you build it bigger? About what percentage of the entire project does EQIP pay for? I have heard as much as 75%? Any input is appreciated! | |
