Subject: Knee Replacement 'Revision'

Lone Wolf, Ok
Tomorrow I get blessed with undergoing a revision of a 2 yr old total knee replacement.

I had complained of swelling and the original surgeon dismissed it as 'that's life'

Changed Surgeons to do the last Hip replacement in August and after the hip was doing great - I was Peg-legged due to the knee and I asked. X Ray and then bone scan confirmed 'looseness' of the kneecap. He says they use epoxy (I honestly don't understand on kneecap) but he says it's the kneecap that's causing the issue - he says the post surgical swelling should have gone down after 8 months. He will also check the rest of the replaced parts when he's got the joint opened up and replace as necessary.

Isn't getting old fun.

PS - I was supposed to have reverse shoulder replacement tomorrow, this has superseded that. oh well.
