Statesville, NC | I have a 10 hp, 38 cfm air compressor. I don't use it a lot, one man shop. I have a plasma cutter and will do a little sandblasting occasionally. What type of air dryer do I need? I bought my compressor from Eaton (Polar). They have a 58 cfm refrigerated dryer for $1563, and a desiccant dryer that is $2339. I've seen some home made ones on youtube with some copper pipe and drains running up and down the wall, but after pricing copper pipe and time that I don't have, that didn't look good either. I don't know much about them, but I'm guessing the refrigerated dryer is less maintenance cost than the desiccant type? | |
