Rivers, MB | did our canola straight cutting canola trial last week. Trial had 3 strips: swathed, standing w/ Podceal, standing - no podceal. None of the strips where sprayed with glyphosate. Both straight cut trials yielded within 1/2 bu/ac of swathing. Kind of disapointed, was expecting a significant yield bump. No noticeable shelling at harvest time. Some whole pods with Podceal laying on the ground but did not think it was a significant amount. Went though the combine very nicely. What are your experiences this year??
