Subject: Go Pro "fisheye" effect?

Chebanse, IL.....

Does anyone know, what can be done to a Go Pro Silver to reduce/remove the fisheye effect? I realize it's due to the wide-angle view. Someone once suggested there is a place to send the camera that will make lens changes to reduce it. Anyone have knowledge of that?

Or, is there a GP camera with less distortion?

I realize there are softwares that "bend" the video to flatten it out, but they introduce a different distortion. Seems as if there's a car on the side of the view, after "correction", it will appear as if it's 50' long. So, I'm asking if there's modifications that can be done to the camera lens.

Thanks
