| I have an old 1460 combine that we put a 1480 heavier duty steer axle under, with alot taller tires. Now the combine doesn't set level. I looked in the book and you can turn the final drives to a position that will raise the front of the machine. The only problem that I see is that I have the short feeder house. I was wondering if I change the postion, will I be able to hook up to the corn head without changing the angle so much that it will have trouble feeding? I am hoping that someone on here had done it before and knows if I am heading for trouble. Thanks for your time.
