Subject: Has anyone made a grain inventory database in Microsoft Access?

NCKS
I'm attempting to make an easyish to use data base for keeping track of grain inventory. Messing around with Access at the moment. My theory was have a table for inbound and a table for outbound then have queries for each bin for inventory, each owner for total landlord and farm inventory and each field for insurance yield and ledgers. The query part is proving more complicated than originally thought. Not sure how to relate the tables. Bin, owner and farm scale ticket number all seem to be good options, but it doesn't seem to like it when I link more than once, but linking just one never gives me the desired results.

I was wondering if anyone has used Access for this? Was it worth it? and if you have any pointers?

Thanks
