Subject: RE: John Deere on Trimble Lines

Yes, after the tractor was hooked up I went into the JD display and created a new A+ line at the same degree angle as the Trimble. I don't know which JD display you will be using, but on a gen 4 (4600) I was unable to set the 'non John Deere 2' the first time when setting the A+ line. I had to save the A+ as regular JD and then go back in and edit the A+ line.
I'm not sure how it works on a GS3 (2630) display.

I also just remembered, when you set the non John Deere 2 correction, it asks you for elevation. There must be some calculation in there that needs it. Not sure why it can't grab elevation from the receiver??
