SC Wisconsin | I use the DJI app on my Samsung S10 and on an iPad Pro. Both platforms work as expected. I prefer the iPad for 95% of my situations - which is crop monitoring. I haven't had to deal with DJI directly in the 3 years I've had the drone... but I understand app development is easier said than done in the Android world. The nuanced interaction of hardware and operating system can be a real PITA and there are many hardware x Android combinations. Apple iOS simplifies this by having one OS and one hardware company. That's a reason why you see smaller companies developing for iOS first. | |
