Central Western VA Mountains
We bought a Mavic Mini a few weeks with the Fly More Combo. It's a good starter drone IMHO. Easy to fly (thought my daughter put it in a tree.. ) and takes decent video for what we are doing. There is no crash avoidance and like mentioned, you need a hard flat surface to land it. We don't fly far, mostly now taking videos of haying. It is light and wind can be an issue, though we've not experienced it. It has good battery life IMHO and 3 batteries/charger is nice to keep you flying. We use 128gb memory cards. We also use an iPad mini vs a cell phone for the display (with 12" cord from Amazon) and makes it easier to see what you are doing. There is also no follow me mode with the Mavic Mini. IMHO - the price is good for what you get with the Fly More Combo.

Hoping next spring to get a Skydio 2...

Good luck!
