I believe the Mini has about the same controller as a Pro, anyhow it clamps in a phone about the same way?

For a cord, don’t get too complicated. Many cords are kinda cheap and data rate slows down, the drone needs fast data flow, be sure an extra connection or real long cord is good enough. There are certified good cord, and cheapie not so good cords....

For a tablet, one of these holders is really nice. You clamp the holder in where the phone would go, and then the tablet clamps in the holder above the sticks. Many have a neck strap and can clip onto the strap, so the whole deal is suspended from your neck, allows you to move a hand around with more freedom.

For sun glare, these shields help a lot. Some get to a periscope opening to cut out all glare, others are simple 3 sides. I’ve seen them made out of a cereal box as well, very simple stuff.

Some quick sample photos I grabbed, you need to size them for your tablet and also some are quite fancy, some are quite basic, I’m not recommending what I’m picturing.
