That's part of what I'm trying to figure out myself...what can we do with it and what benefits can a drone bring us ?...
I'm thinking some field scouting, some cattle monitoring/locating, maybe some building/silo inspections? what else can be done?
The funding available is pretty specific and a drone is the only thing I can come up with that would qualify, also it says no doubles of anything (2 drones)...
There is about 600-700 acres of corn grown locally and probably 6-8000 acres of forage/pasture. There is also some blueberry producers, could they benefit from a drone for any reason? May also be some contract work with the forestry industry.
Looks like the matrice 200 is weatherproof to some degree, this may be handy with our unpredictable weather. I've nearly been caught out in the rain by a sudden passing shower... | |
