Chebanse, IL.....

Crop insurance adjusters are using drones to check for wind damage in corn. It's hard to view the scope of wind damage in a corn field in August in NE IL from the ground. Walking a 2-300 A. corn field isn't that practical either in August. A drone camera can view & record the field in 15 minutes to assess the scope of the wind damage. It will also help the farmer prepare for what he's going to have to deal with 60 days down the road.

Yes, I'm aware viewing and assessing field damage can also be done from an airplane. I did it for 25+ years.
